DEVILS LAKE, ND (nomadnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic turn of events, 43-year-old Wayne Buckles of Devil’s Lake finds himself entangled in legal trouble after an altercation with law enforcement officers.
According to court documents, on March 22nd, Buckles was expelled from Devil’s Lake McDonald’s due to intoxication and disruptive behavior towards patrons. Later, he was discovered at a nearby job service facility, where he refused to cooperate with officers, leading to a physical confrontation.
Despite warnings of additional charges, Buckles resisted officers’ attempts to remove him from the premises, forcing them to carry him out. During the altercation, he reportedly headbutted an officer and continued to display hostility while being transported to the jail.
As a result of his actions, Buckles now faces serious charges, including felonies for assaulting a peace officer and making contact with bodily fluids, as well as misdemeanors for criminal trespass, preventing arrest, and disorderly conduct.
