FARGO, ND (nomadnews.i234.me) – Nicholas Morgan Derosier, a 36-year-old man from Grand Forks with connections to disgraced North Dakota State Senator Ray Holberg, has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison on child pornography charges. In September of 2023, Derosier pled guilty to one count of receipt and distribution of child pornography and six counts of possession of child pornography. The charges stem from graphic sexual abuse images and videos found during a search warrant at his residence. Investigators discovered over 6,000 explicit images on at least six devices, including nude pictures of prepubescent family members. Derosier also exchanged dozens of text messages with Senator Holberg before the latter’s resignation in June last year.
