2nd Ethics Case Involving Graphic Email Surfaces in MN State Senate

ST. PAUL, MN (nomadnews.i234.me) – On Wednesday, the Minnesota State Senate Ethics Committee addressed two cases. One involved a Senator distributing a graphic video via email. Democratic Senator Nicole Mitchell of Woodbury faced the committee regarding burglary charges and an ethics complaint, with a decision deferred until June 14th. Also, GOP Senator Glenn Gruenhagen of Glencoe was under scrutiny for emailing disturbing videos. During the hearing, Senator Aaron May Quade presented evidence of Gruenhagen’s email containing explicit content of transgender surgeries. The Ethics Committee decided Gruenhagen must undergo guidance on appropriate email conduct from Republican leadership. Once completed, the complaint against him will be dismissed.
